Privacy Policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
Tempo is built by Exla, Inc. (“we”). This policy explains what Tempo reads, why, and how we protect it.
What we access
Only the sources you connect: email threads (Gmail), calendar events, Slack messages in conversations you belong to, meeting transcripts and notes (Otter, Granola, Fireflies, Gong, Fathom, tl;dv), Notion pages you share with Tempo, Linear issues, Calendly bookings, and your CRM records (HubSpot).
How we use it
Solely to provide Tempo to you: summarizing conversations, proposing CRM updates, drafting follow-ups and answering your questions. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Content is processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) under terms that prohibit training on API data.
Google user data
Tempo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail access is used to read customer threads and save drafts you approve; Tempo never sends email on your behalf.
Storage & security
Credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Data is stored in the United States. You can disconnect any integration at any time, which stops access immediately; email founders@exla.ai to delete your account and data.
